Long Term Care Act tax in Washington State
Washington state's Long Term Care Trust Act is a first-of-its-kind publicly-funded program to reimburse eligible long-term services and supports (LTSS). The program will be funded by a payroll tax collected by employers on behalf of every adult W-2 employee.

Haley Sandford - Eagle Strategies LLC / New York Life Insurance Company
Haley moved from New York to Washington in 2016 to continue her career as a Financial Planner with the New York Life. She found her passion in helping individuals achieve their financial goals while protecting them against the many uncertainties that life brings. As a fiduciary, Haley employs a technical approach to holistic planning that addresses proper asset allocation, tax efficient retirement strategies, college funding, life insurance, long-term care, and estate planning. She does this by collaborating with a team of specialists to address tax and legal issues that may arise.
Haley received her Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from SUNY Buffalo in 2014 and has worked in the financial and insurance industry since the beginning of her career. During college, she held Treasurer of the Panhellenic Council along with Fundraiser and New Member Educator of Sigma Delta Tau. Haley currently lives in Bellevue, WA with her significant other and Calico cat. During her spare time, she enjoys traveling, yoga, and reading. Haley also enjoys volunteering at local non-profits that support women and under privileged children.
